Outlaws vs. Gunslingers!

Join us for the second annual Border War match-up at Garwood Arena - Steel Town Gunslingers vs Norther Ohio Outlaws! Heated INDOOR arena, terrific footing, space to let your horse stretch out and 90 stalls all under the same roof.

Whether your a Buckeye chasing CMSA points for OH and the Midwest Region or a Yinz'er seeking PA and Northeast Region points, points from this border war event count toward your CMSA point race. So sign up now and make sure to mention which club you'll be shooting for at registration and lets see who will walk away with the bragging rights.

6-stage Main Match event starting Saturday, April 6 with 4 stages of main match, followed by final 2 stages, shotgun and cavalry Sunday April 7. Class and divisional prizes to be awarded + 40% payback.

we will be bringing back our GAMBLER's CHALLENGE:

1) You may place a $10 bet on your favored rider to win the class that is designated as the "Gambler's Challenge Class". Anyone, including the riders entered in the designated class, may bet on any competitor registered class to emerge as the class winner. You are only permitted to bet once though!

2) 20% of the pool will go to the rider that wins the class. 80% will be divided between everyone that correctly bets on the class winner. If an underdog wins that did not receive any bets, the 80% will follow that class as ADDED class money at our next shoot.

3) Current List of Competitors: TBD. Cowboy and Cowgirl class for the Gambler's Challenge will be determined as we watch registrations come in. We will select the most competitive classes for each gender and announce about a week before the shoot.

4) This is NOT a complete list of competitors, but a list of those pre-registered through CMSA. Registration will not close until 8:30am Saturday morning. If you submit an early bet, you assume the risk that your favored rider may scratch, catch a cold, the flue, the PLAGUE, or may sleep in and miss their spot in the Go-Order, fall off their horse and take a 60-second run, or get themselves abducted by aliens, NONE OF WHICH WILL GET YOU A REFUND! You may place your bet until the first shot is fired, at which time the betting is CLOSED!

5) All Gambler's Challenge competitors will be invited to strut their stuff in the opening ceremonies where we will introduce them to the crowd and make a final call for all betting.

6) You do not need to be present to win, but its a hell of a lot more fun to cheer your rider on in person!

Plenty of power/water hookups. No on-site showers at this time. Hookups - $65/ weekend; Stalls - $65/weekend and include 1 bag of shavings.

Dogs must be leashed at all times. No dogs in the arena!
