** UPDATE **
We will have a minimum of $2500 added money for the state finals, plus buckles for overall and reserve cowboy and cowgirl, as well as a buckle for overall combined long gun winner!

The Montana State Finals will be held at the Sweetgrass County Fairgrounds in Big Timber, MT this year. Join us for 2 fun days of competition to determine our state champions!

6 stage main match - pays back 1 in 4 in the classes, buckles for overall and reserve, paying back no less than 50% total in the main match
clean shooter - 100% payback, clean means no penalties of any kind
rifle and shotgun - 50% payback, split limited and open, no gender split

Ammo provider subject to change due to availability.

Limited pens on site, first come first serve, $10/horse/night. Please use large pens for multiple horses. Portable pens welcome, no charge and plenty of room. Free dry camping, no hookups so bring your generator.

Friday -
evening registration times TBA
Saturday -
registration open 7:30 am - 8:30 am
mandatory rider's meeting at 9:45 am
shooting starts at 10:00 am with 4 main match stages
Long gun schedule will be determined by number of entries
dinner plans TBA!
Sunday-
last 2 stages main match start at 9:30 am, followed by Wrangler ground shooting
Long gun schedule will be determined by number of entries
Awards approximately 1 hour after last shot
