Enrolling early increases the value of stallion offspring because buyers know they can run for the Stallion Incentive Money as a 4-year-old.

Drug Testing Rules
Dates to Remember
- Friday, July 31st – Deadline to submit via futurity email the non-pro application
- Tuesday, September 8th – entries close, after this date there is a $100 late fee to enter the futurity / derby or stallion incentive.
- Saturday, September 12th – After 5pm, no more entries are allowed.
- Monday, September 14th – CMSA Futurity / Derby Draw Party in the Blue Ribbon Room. Doors open at 5:45pm, meal is served at 6:30 pm.
- Tuesday, September 15th – 8am Stages 1–3 of CMSA Futurity, Running Non-Pro first with Open class to follow. One hour after the last shot of CMSA Futurity – Stages 1–3 of CMSA Derby. 7PM CMSA Futurity and Derby Top 10 Finals.
- Saturday, September 19th. Awards Ceremony in conjunction with CMSA Easterns Finals.
