Scholarship
In 1999, Dave Daiss CMSA #89 of Cave Creek, Arizona, proposed the idea of an award presented annually, inspired by the concept of an individual accepting a challenge to make something good happen in the world. In 2001, that award was named and announced at the World Championships Banquet as the 'CMSA Scholarship Award'. Currently, this Award has become a reality with a $4000 Scholarship to be awarded this year.
A Scholarship Committee has been formed. Each member has an interest in seeing the 'CMSA Scholarship Award' presented to an individual who has exhibited the strength of character to 'accept the challenge to make something good happen in the world.'
