Come showoff and get some excitement going at the Cowboy Symposium in Ruidoso Downs, NM !

Each year, during the second full weekend in October, Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico plays host to the nation's finest cowboy festival with old west storytellers, poets, musicians, chuckwagon cook-off, western artists and craftsmen for three days of events, competitions, horse demonstrations, dancing, activities for the kids and more.

This is a chance for us to showoff our favorite sport and introduce it to LOTS of spectators. We will be running on the track itself so you know the footing will be great.

Friday 2-4:00 pm we will have a Clinic by Diana Olson. $75, bring your own ammo. Text Diana to sign up 520-661-6464
6:00 pm Enchilada dinner sponsored by Pinnacle Real Estate Gather at the stalls. Bring your own chair and beverage

Saturday:
4 stage DWPQ shoot. Entry is $100 with 50% payback. No office fee. Wranglers $15 Riders meeting at 10:00 am with first shot immediately afterwards. We will shoot 10-12:00 then take a break to allow our shooters to enjoy the chuckwagon cookoff or just visit the Symposium.
Then we will start again at 2:00 and shoot until we are done. We will have shotgun and rifle $50 entry with 50% payback. Clean shooter jackpot $10 and any other fun stuff that we can dream up depending on interest. We will discuss at the Friday night dinner. We will have time onlys for $10/run. Stalls are $15 per horse per night and dry camping is free.

DOOR PRIZES !!! will be given at awards! WORKING ON ADDED MONEY TOO !

Saturday evening - let's all go to the Billy the Kid Saloon for a cheap (but delicious!) steak or prime rib dinner. It's right on site. So, no driving required.

Your entry to the shoot also gets you into the Symposium for all of the fun.
