Description
Wyoming State Finals in Lusk, WY at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds - We will kick the weekend off with the Guns, Cans, & Cattle Classic Jackpot on Saturday, September 1 at 1:00 PM. The jackpot is currently full!! Must use the same horse for the event, Shoot once, Barrel Race once and a 1 on 1 Cattle Sort. 100% Payback, pay 5 places, gender split. Saddles to the overalls. Entry Fee is $100.00 and is capped at 40, after 40 we will have a waiting list. The main pistol match will start on Sunday, September 2 at 10:00 AM with the first two stages and a stage of Rifle and Shotgun following. Final two stages and final Rifle and Shotgun will start at 9:00 AM on Monday, September 3. $7,000.00 in prizes and added money with more added as we have sponsor dollars rolling in.
The facility is large grounds, we are encouraging those who have them to bring their portable panels or hot fence to set up. We have 56 covered stalls and approximately 28-30 pens. Pens we want for horses that can be put together. Most pens will hold 2 head, a couple will hold 3 - first come first serve. We do have panels that we can set up for your horses if needed. Stalls/Pens are $10.00 per night per horse. There is no charge for setting up portable fence. There are limited RV Electric hookups and will be on a first come first serve. Hookup is $25.00 for the weekend.
You will be shooting in Lusk, Wyoming, weather can be a factor and go from one extreme to the next. This is an outdoor arena and we will shoot regardless of the weather - rain, sleet, small hail, snow or wind; however we will break for lightning or a down pour. Our arena will hold a lot of water with good footing. Be prepared for it to be hot and dry or cold and wet or both!
We have lots of fun here and have a great payout!
There will be a $20.00 late charge for entries received after the online cutoff. We encourage online entries and appreciate it.
