Due to Weather, this shoot has been cancelled!!

The Kleinschmidt's Shootout held at the Johnson County Fair

The shoot will begin on the 9th of July. We cannot have any trailers haul in to the arena on Friday night, due to the Pro Bull Ride. If you would like to come in and hang out or go to the bull ride, you can check with Ben Denney and we will try to accomidate as many as possible at our place.

The Shooters meeting will be at 6:00 pm, Shooting starts at 7:00 pm
4 stages run Saturday night with 1 Rifle stage and 1 Shotgun stage
2 more stages run on Sunday with the second Rifle and 2nd Shotgun
Awards shall follow the final Shotgun stage

This is a 6 stage main match over the two days. 50% straight payback for the main match, no money goes to the overall.
Entry is $80.00 with a $20.00 office fee

6 Divisional Buckles awarded ( limited, Express and Open, Mens and Womens)
2 Buckles for Shotgun and Rifle
Custom Bronc Halters for each class winner

Wrangler entry is $15.00 ( Ribbons and Buckets with goodies are awarded)

Rifle and Shotgun entry fee is 45.00 if we have a class for points, it will payback 50%
If we lack the entries for a class, we will do a jackpot with a 80% payback

This arena is large and open with good footing. We have a limit of approximately 26 open stalls or pens. If you need one, please call to be put on the list. They are free. We encourage temporary corrals or pens. Dry camping only, please bring generators if you need them. Awnings are encouraged, due to the lack of shade around the arena.

Please plan on eating before the shoot. We should have carnival food on the grounds with a larger carnival that is coming this year. The mud run will be taking place at the north end of the fairgrounds also, so we will need all shooters to park on the south side of the arena.
