Description

We are very pleased to be hosting this event again with Rex and Bambi Portman of the Diamond P Ranch in West Yellowstone Montana. This is a wonderful tourist destination with much to offer! If you get there a day or 2 early you can take a scenic trail ride to the top of the Continental Divide, your horse or one of the Diamond P's. There is also awesome fishing, shopping, entertainment, dining etc. If you have never been to this beautiful part of the world you won't want to miss out. The added money is yet to be determined but guaranteed to be substantial for our area. This will be a 2 day, 6 stage DWPQ. Paying 1 in 4. Saturday ~ 9:30 Rider's Meeting, 10:00 Grand Entry, stages 1-4, Eliminator to follow, 1 qualifier and a final. The Eliminator will be broke into 3 divisions ~ A = 1 & 2's, AA = 3 & 4's, and AAA = 5 & 6's, these divisions will also be gender split. We will pay both Men's and Ladies Reserves and Overalls. Sunday ~ 10:00 stages 5 & 6 with Rifle and Shotgun to follow. Also paying 1 in 4. Clean shooter jackpot in main match, all clean shooters will get a check.
Online entries open Jan. 1st 2016 and close Wednesday August 10th. Any entries after August 10th will incur a $25.00 late fee. Any registration not paid by 8:30 a.m. Saturday August 13th will incur a $25.00 late fee.
Concessions available and Rex will serve his famous sour dough pancakes - one breakfast free with your main match entry. Dutch oven fare (some of the tastiest ribs ever last year) and entertainment Saturday evening.
There will be a celebrity shootout for some of our sponsors and friends on Friday evening and Quick Draw competitions throughout the weekend. This was a lot of fun last year!!
Time Onlys - $7.50 WD members and $10 others.
To date no electric hookups but this could change as Rex is always making improvements. Pens are limited and $10/night/horse. Plenty of room to camp and set up portable pens ~ one time $15.00 fee. Call Albert to reserve your spot/pen(s) 307-202-0793
