Description
The New Mexico State Match will be held at the Bernalillo Sheriffs' Posse Covered Arena in Albuquerque.
Come join us for this 6-stage match, 3x CMSA points and 3x NMT points.
Friday: The arena will be Open Friday afternoon. We will have 2 warm-up stages at 5:00pm for $10/stage. There will be a 'Pot Luck' at 6:30 pm. Bring your favorite dish to share.
Saturday: Rider's meeting at 9:00 am; start time will be at 9:30 am with Main Match stages 1, 2 and 3; 2 Rifle stages and 2 Shotgun stages, followed by the 1st stage of the 'Dash for Cash' (2 stages, combined times), which will be a divisional payout; 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, no gender split. There will be added money to be divided evenly in the 'Dash for Cash' divisions. Senior Incentive will combine the times of the first 3 Main Match stages. Limited, 1-3 and Open 4-6, gender split. The top 4 limited and the top 4 open Cowgirls and Cowboys will come back for the Saturday Night Showcase. Something NEW, we will have a Starter Incentive, for Levels 1 and 2 only, gender split, regular and/or senior may enter. We will combine your times of the first 3 Main Match stages. The top cowgirl and cowboy from levels 1 and 2 will come back for the Saturday Night Showcase.
Saturday Night Showcase will start at 6:00 pm with the top 5 Rifle and top 5 Shotgun coming back. Followed by the Starter Incentives to shoot for money; the Senior Incentives will be shooting it out for money and for the NMT State Senior Ladies' and Senior Men's buckles. Last will be the 2nd stage of the 'Dash for Cash'.
Saturday we will have a catered dinner by Cynthia for $10, payable at registration.
Cowboy church will start us off on Sunday at 8:00 am. Match start time will be 9:00 am with stages 4, 5 and 6 followed by a Pony Express Team Event.
Buckles for: Levels 1, 2 and 3; Overall Cowboy and Overall Cowgirl; Limited Senior Cowgirl and Cowboy Incentive and Open Senior Cowgirl and Cowboy Incentive; Wranglers Open and Limited.
Entry fees: Main entry- $150 with 50% payback; Rifle and Shotgun-$50 each with 50% payback; 'Dash for Cash'-$50 with 80% payback plus the added money; Senior Incentive- $30 with 80% payback; Starter Incentive- $20 with 80% payback; Clean Shooter Jackpot and 3D Jackpot- $10 each with 100% payback; Pony Express- $10/rider with 100% payback plus added money; Wranglers- $15.
We will have registration Friday afternoon and Saturday between 7:30am and 8:30am.
