This event is being held in conjunction with the NM Centennial BBQ Contest a KC BBQ contest with over 25 teams from around the country coming to compete for $10,000 in prize money. There will be a car show, motorcycle show, arts and crafts, food vendors, lots of bbq, beer garden, great food, and we are part of the entertainment with Cowboy Mounted Shooting.
By club members demand we will run a showcase on Friday with a two stage eliminator 1-3, 4-6 gender split $50 entry fee. Along with a $50 rifle and $50 shotgun all beginning at 7:00 p.m. with riders meeting at 6:45.
Saturday morning will be a 4 Stage DWPQ Main Match beginning at 9:00 a.m. Because there will be entertainment during the day such as Lynn Anderson on stage, we'll take breaks between stages to enjoy but Lynn Anderson herself will give out the checks for us at 4:30 that day. $1,000 added money for main match.
