Western Shooting Horse Magazine will host a CMSA Double Points "Road to the Worlds" competition at the Curry County Event Center Indoor Arena in Clovis, New Mexico, October 14-16, 2011.
The Western Shooting Horse "Road To The Worlds" will feature a six-stage CMSA Double Points match with the main match stages being shot on Saturday and Sunday. Main Match contestants will compete for a 50% Circuit Payback with Buckle Choice for full classes. Overall men and women's buckles will also be awarded.
A two-stage Eliminator and two-stage rifle competition will take place during the two-day shoot. There is a 70% payback for the Rifle and Colt Eliminator. Colt Eliminator is 1&2 - 3&4 - 5&6, NO GENDER SPLIT, with the top ten in each category coming back for the second stage. Rifle brings back the top ten after stage 1 for the final run on Saturday.Rifle brings back the top ten after stage 1 for the final run on Saturday.
Entry fees for the Western Shooting Horse "Road To The Worlds" are $175. Entry for the Eliminator is $50. Entry for the Rifle is $50.
Overnight camping sites with electric and water are available at $25 per night. Horse stalls are $20 per night.
Main match stages 1-4 will be shot on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by 2 Rifle stages and Colt Eliminator Stage 1. Stages 5-6 will be shot on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Colt Eliminator Final.

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to attend. Tickets are $10. A food concession will be open both days.
The Curry County Event Center Indoor Arena is a new regulation sized arena with professional footing and grooming that opened its doors in April 2009.
With approximately 96,000 square feet, the climate-controlled, indoor arena includes spectator seating for approximately 3,300 people and features a state-of-the-art concession facility that serves food, soft drinks and beer. Visit the Curry County Events Center at www.curryeventscenter.com.
