Two double points shoots
Come join in our Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association for two double point shoots in Fowler. As always, period clothing is greatly appreciated but not mandatory for this shoot. WE WELCOME ALL NEW RIDERS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Date: Saturday and Sunday, October 2 and 3, 2010
Event time:
Saturday – Safety Meeting at 12:45, Shoot Time 1:00 pm
Sunday – Cowboy Church 8:30 a.m.
-Safety Meeting at 10:15 a.m., Shoot Time: 10:30 a.m.
Where: Four miles north of Fowler on 26 Road
(This is about 25 miles SW of Dodge City.)
Entry Fees: $50.00 adult and jr. classes * $10.00 “Wrangler” class
Facilities: Friday night arrival is okay. * This is space available on the grounds for horses to be picketed or tied. Some pens and panel available on a first come first serve basis. * Camping on grounds is permitted. * There is a fire pit that can be used. * If you need to stay at a hotel please check with the Lee’s for their suggestions.
Meals:
We are planning to have a potluck supper on Saturday night, meat will be provided, please bring a side dish. Bring your own place setting. It will be a little bit of a drive to eating establishments. Hopefully Sunday’s breakfast will be provided but you may want to bring something just in case. When we’re through on Sunday, we will cook and eat anything left over, but you may want to bring something just in case. There are some electrical hook ups, please call the Lee’s.
