Description
MINNESOTA 2024 STATE SHOOT AUGUST 16 & AUGUST 17
3X the points on a 5-stage match over two days with shotgun, rifle and eliminator hosted by the Wild Rice Peacemakers.
Order of events (Office hours are approximate):
Friday, August 15th
Move-in allowed after 12pm.
Office will be open at the crow's nest for entries from 5-9pm
**Dog Race Fundraiser for the family of Charlie Little!
Bring your best furry friend to the arena at 7 pm for a friendly race to raise funds to support the family of Charlie Little who left this Earth too soon. Dogs will race one by one with the fastest time winning! $20 cash entry fee per dog, 50/50 split for the winning pup.
----- ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH DURING THE HOURS OF THE SHOOT ------
The FEED BAG will be open to provide breakfast, lunch and snacks for purchase Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
Saturday, August 16th
Office will be open from 7-8am. You must be signed in and paid by then to compete. NO changes to entries after 8am.
Shooters Safety Meeting - 8:30am
Wrangler Ground Shooting (10 balloons)- 8:40am
Presentation of the flags to follow ground shooting
Main Match: Stages 1-3 starting at 9:00am
Rifle: Stages 1 & 2 to follow Stage 3 Main Match
Potluck to follow Rifle - Please bring a dish or dessert to share! Meat will be provided.
Sunday, August 17th
Eliminator Finals: Start at 8:00am - based on first 3 stages of Main Match
Shotgun Stages 1 & 2
Main Match: Stages 4-5 following Shotgun
Awards - Approximately 1 hour after the last shot.
Main Match: 5 stages, entry fee: $150 - Level paybacks (NO senior splits)
Wrangler Main Match: $30
Shotgun: 2 stages, entry Fee: $40 - Class Paybacks
Rifle: 2 stages, entry Fee: $45 - Class Paybacks
Additional options:
Clean Shooter: $10 entry fee - 100% payback split between all shooters with no penalties.
Overall Jackpot: $50 entry fee - 3D or 4D dependent on number of entries.
Eliminator - $50 entry fee
Limited (1-3) Cowboys & Cowgirls
Open (4-6) Cowboys & Cowgirls
NO senior splits
Qualifiers for the eliminator will be overall times from stages 1-3 of the Main Match and taking back the top 5 Cowboys and Cowgirls in each division.

Ammo: Whitehouse and Curly's
Office fee - $10
Dry Camping: $30/weekend - No Electrical Hookups
Porta Pens Welcome: All hay and manure from porta pen sites must be cleaned up at the end of the weekend.
Limited Stalls Available: $20/horse: No horses are allowed in the stalls during the hours of the shoot. All hay and manure need to be cleaned at the end of the weekend. Please contact Heather at 701-898-7007 to reserve.

One Centrally Located Water Hydrant On-Site
Two separate fundraisers will be taking place throughout the weekend, with the winners drawn following Eliminator on Sunday morning.

Fundraiser for the Humane Society of Ottertail County:
