Please join us for our 2025 Virginia State Championship Shoot!!!

Our event will take place at the beautiful Meadow Event Park, Doswell, Virginia, Birthplace of Secretariat (13191 Dawn Blvd. Doswell VA 23047 - Enter through GATE 6) It will be held under the First Bank & Trust Covered Arena at the Virginia Farm Bureau and will have a large warm-up arena
Main Match Payback- Circuit 50% with 30% going to Overalls.

VA State Championship is Six Stages - 3X's the points and PERSONALIZED BUCKLES for all overalls, class winners, open and limited class winners for shotgun, rifle and cavalry. Buckles will be special ordered and personalized with your name, horse name OR combo of both.

Friday from 12pm to 3pm, we will be hosting a Circle S Training Center Clinic for Advanced beginners and up! YOUR HORSE MUST BE GUN BROKE To Participate. Contact Colton Stegall at 276-358-2877 for details and to register. $125 fee.(Ammo included)

Schedule of Events
Friday- Note: this is a 2 stage Warm-up Shoot
2pm to 4pm- Registration open
4:45pm- Safety Meeting
5pm- Warm Up Shoot 1st shot - 2 Stages (limited to 75 riders)

Saturday-
7am to 8am- Registration open
7:30am to 8:30am- Main Arena open
8:30am- Main Arena will close
8:45am- Safety Meeting
9am- Main Match Stages 1, 2, 3 followed by Rifle and Shotgun.

7:00pm Saturday night we will have a Lasagna Dinner, sponsored by Paul Henry's Windows for all riders and their families.
After dinner we will host a 3-gun challenge

Sunday-
7:30-8:30- Arena Open for warms ups
8am- Cowboy Church under covered arena (Arena will be closed during Cowboy Church)
9am- Calvary and Stages 4, 5, 6 Main Match
Shooters who live 6 hours or more from facility may request to roll in and shoot early on stage 6.

Fees:
Office Fee- $40
Warm-up- MM $55, Wrangler - $30, Clean Shooter - $10
State Championship- MM $130, Wrangler- $40
Shotgun/Rifle/Calvary- $55 -
Clean Shooter- $20 - 100% payback -
Demo's- $90 for 6 stages, $50 for 3 stages or $20 per stage **If you need to Demo after a stage, you must go to the office to notify scorekeeper - payment must be paid before the next stage.

Stall- $80 (weekend) $40 extra night per horse- 2 bags of shavings will be provided with each stall -- Extra Shavings $9 per bag
RV- $75 (weekend check in Fri- check out Sun) $35 extra night (First come, first serve)

Dry camping or empty trailer parking is available and will be set up in the large gravel lot on your right as you pull into the facility (there will be a white bathhouse on the left as you pull through the gate, the gravel lot is on the right)
All dogs MUST always be on a leash. This is strongly enforced by Meadow Event Park. Dogs must have current rabies vaccine.
