Join us for the 1st Annual CMSA Shootout at the Red Bluff Round-Up for a chance to run in the showcase during all 3 days of rodeo performances! The Red Bluff Round-Up Association is excited to grow this event with us each year, so show up and support the first of its kind in California!
IF YOU WANT TO RUN IN THE SHOWCASE DURING THE RODEO, YOU MUST ENTER THE FRIDAY 2-STAGE QUALIFER!!
FEES, AWARDS AND PAYOUT
CMSA Office Fee $15
4 Stage Main Match $125 entry 60% Payback (90% classes/ 10% overall) **includes automatic entry in ShootPony 4D per stage jackpot paying out a minimum $3,000 of added money. Buckles to Main Match Overall Cowboy and Cowgirl, Limited Cowboy and Cowgirl (not Sr), Sr. Limited Cowboy and Cowgirl and Novice Overall (Novice is any level 1 with 0 qualified CMSA wins). Trophy travel bags to Top Ten Main Match Overall! PLUS, buckles will be ordered for any level 1 FULL class wins after the event.
2 Stage Friday Qualifier $65 entry 50% payback plus $1,100 added money payout to the showcase winners! Top 6 women and Top 6 men after 2 stages qualify for the rodeo showcases which will pay 3 spots gender split PLUS Women's Showcase Winner and Men's Showcase Winner buckles sponsored by Red Bluff Round-Up Association.
2 Stage Shotgun $50 entry 50% payback limited split. PLUS, automatic qualification for showcase with $500 added paying 2 spots PLUS Shotgun Showcase Winner buckle sponsored by Red Bluff Round-Up Association.
2 Stage Rifle $50 entry 50% payback no splits. PLUS, automatic qualification for showcase with $400 added paying 2 spots PLUS Rifle Showcase Winner buckle sponsored by Red Bluff Round-Up Association.
Clean Shooter $20 100% payback.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Thursday April 18th Move-In Allowed after 12:00 noon. Check-in open 12:00-5:00 pm.
Friday April 19th Check-in for Shotgun/Rifle closes at 9:00 am. Rider's meeting 9:45. Shoot at 10:00 beginning with Stage 1 Shotgun, Stage 1 Rifle, Stage 2 Shotgun, Stage 2 Rifle.
Check-in for 2-Stage Qualifier closes at 11:00. Start time not sooner than 12:00 Noon- running 2 stages of Qualifier. The Top 6 Women and Top 6 Men will come back on Saturday and Sunday for the Rodeo Showcases.
The Top 4 Shotgun and Top 2 Rifle will run in the Rodeo Showcase on the track in the Friday evening performance. Rodeo starts at 7:30 pm.
Saturday, April 20th. 8:45 rider's meeting, 9:00 Start time running Stage 1 and 2 of the main match. Top 6 Men from the Friday Qualifier will run in the Rodeo Showcase on the track. Rodeo starts at 2:00 pm.
Sunday, April 21st. 9:00 start time running Stage 3 and 4 of the main match. Top 6 Women from the Friday Qualifier will run in the Rodeo Showcase on the track. Rodeo starts at 2:00 pm.
Awards will likely be AFTER the end of the rodeo on Sunday ETA 5:00 pm, unless we can fit them in beforehand.
FACILITY AND STALLS
We are hard-stop limited to 50 stalls! No self-penning or overnight tying to trailers is allowed. You may, alternatively, haul in and out each day. No tack stalls allowed and no extra horses please! Stalls are $25 for the entire weekend- bring your own shavings or there will be some available to purchase on site. Free dry camping only is provided on site. There are showers and restrooms available. All CMSA events are held in the "Bull Sale Arena" on site which is covered. The rodeo showcase performances are ran on the track which is 50 ft by 300 ft on dirt outdoors right in front of the packed grandstands during the rodeo.
Once full please still get on the waitlist! If stalls are available more will be let in.
