We are getting fewer shoots in the Northwest due to the fact that we have
the only Equestrian sport split by gender and level creating 27 classes.
During our 10 years of producing CMSA events, we have found that we have
lost money on all but 2 years. Twenty seven (27) Classes puts undue burden
on the promoters and community to raise enough money to host an event. This
format will give competitors who only want to shoot for buckles & prizes - a
fun way to go. It will also create a place for people to run for money.
Reducing the number of places not only makes it more affordable for the
promoters to put on the shoot, but also provides more money added per
division.
We hope that all of our competitors and friends will enjoy this format.
