We are excited to be back at the South Point for our CMSA Lakota Western U.S. Championship.

Announcement from the South Point.
As a result of South Point policy, there will be a required veterinary inspection upon arrival at the South Point. South Point along with CMSA will provide veterinary personnel on site to Check Health Papers and perform oral exams on EVERY horse arriving at the facility. This service will only be provided during the specified hours below.
Tuesday, July 25 - 2:30PM - 8:00PM.
Staff only
Wednesday, July 26 - 8:00AM - 8:00PM.
Thursday, July 27 - 8:00AM - 6:00PM.
NO HORSES may arrive any other time, so please make your travel plans accordingly!!!
PLEASE NOTE: HORSES FROM CALIFORNIA MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING HEALTH CERTIFICATE:
Texas has been released from this requirement.
Currently, all horses, cattle, swine, sheep, and goats from a state where Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV) has been diagnosed, or visiting an infected state and then returning to Nevada, except those moving directly to slaughter, must be accompanied by a 7-day health certificate (CVI) that includes the statement:
"I have examined all the animals identified on this certificate within seven (7) days of shipment date and have found them to be free from signs of Vesicular Stomatitis Virus (VSV). During the last fourteen (14) days, these animals have not been exposed to VSV nor located on a VSV confirmed or a VSV suspected premises."
Any horse arriving without the proper health certificate, including the additional statement, will not be allowed on the premises, nor will the vet on site be able to write a health certificate.
