Description

Head down to the hills of Southwest Iowa for the Travis Auto & Truck Shoot over Memorial Day weekend! Get ready for 3 days of shooting with 7 buckles up for grabs with combined times from all three days.Thank you to Dave Travis with Travis Auto & Truck for sponsoring our buckles!

Buckle splits -
NO SENIOR SPLITS
Limited (1-2) Cowgirl
Limited (1-2) Cowboy
Express (3-4) Cowgirl
Express (3-4) Cowboy
Open - non gender split
Rifle Champion
Shotgun Champion

You must shoot all three days to qualify for the buckle. Buckles will be awarded to the competitors with the fastest combined times from all stages.

Order of Events -
Friday, May 27th
Move in
Office will be open for early entries that evening

Saturday, May 28th
Office will close at 10:00am
Main match - First shot at NOON
Rifle to follow main match

Sunday, May 29th
Cowboy church - 7:30am
Office will close at 8:00am
Main match - First shot at 10:00am
Shotgun to follow main match

Monday, May 30th
Office will close at 8:00am
Wrangler ground shooting at 9:00am
4 stage main match - first shot after last ground shooter
Awards 15 minutes after last shot

If we have more than 75 shooters, we will run two arenas to get everyone through in a timely fashion. (Weather permitting) These are outdoor arenas. Please call (and check the weather) before you haul.

There are few electric camping spots on the premises, but most are reserved for those without generators.

Some stalls are available. Please plan on keeping your horses in porta pens. If you are unable to do so, please call Jamie Travis at 641-344-6228.
