If you put the address into your GPS, it will bring you to the WRONG location. Follow your GPS directions until you turn off of/cross Timber Road onto 460th Ave; the arena will be the FIRST driveway on the right-hand side, right away off of 460th, immediately south of Timber Road. Your GPS will try to bring you another half mile south. Please take the first right-hand driveway.

Introduction to Mounted Shooting Clinic, presented by Lazy Y Cross Performance Horses.

Office closes at 10:30am sharp.
Shoot starts at noon with four stages of main match, followed by two stages of shotgun. We will run the highest levels first, to lowest levels last.
We will have balloon setters.
$100 to main match overall, $50 to reserve overall, no gender split.*
*If 45 or more main match entries, we will gender split: $100 to overall cowboy and $100 to overall cowgirl, $50 to reserve cowboy and $50 to reserve cowgirl.

☆Weekend Details☆
Limited electrical hookups. $20/weekend.
Limited large pens @ $10 each.
Tie-outs, porta pens, and temporary fencing are welcomed.

☆What is a Rookie Horse Class?☆
It is a chance for young horses, age 4 and 5, who are new to the sport of mounted shooting, to be able to run against each other, regardless of the rider's level. The goal of this class is to showcase our sport's up-and-coming future horses, and to only compare them against each other. The Rookie Horses will run together at the end of each stage.
Entry Fee: $50* with 100% payback, please see below details if the "second horse expense fee" applies.
*If the Rookie Horse is used as the main match horse, no additional fees apply. If the Rookie Horse is ridden in addition to a main match horse, there will be a $30 "second horse expense fee" charge to cover ammo ($20), balloons ($2), and balloon setter fees ($8). This total $30 charge is not included in the payback and is strictly to cover additional run expenses.
â-ªRookie Horse Class Rules: the class is open to horses age 4 or 5. In order to be eligible as a "Rookie", the horse may not have competed in any mounted shooting event prior to January 1st, 2021. PLEASE NOTE: we will strictly enforce that the horse must not have competed prior to January 1st, 2021.
â-ªRookie Horse Class Payback: $100 added money plus 100% of each $50 entry will be paid back. Guaranteed to pay 3 places. First place receives 50% of the pot, second place receives 30%, and third place receives 20%. In the event of 10+ entries, the class will pay 4 places (40/30/20/10).
