Description

The two-day Saddle Life Florida State Championship is being held at the Clay County Fair Grounds, in beautiful Green Cove Springs, Fl (20 minutes south of Jacksonville). Competing in two covered arenas, featuring Overall, Reserve and Class Buckles, $2,000 Added Money, 5 Stage Main Match, plus 2 stages of Cavalry, Rifle and Shotgun, 2 preliminary stages of Eliminator with a Senior Incentive and Eliminator Saturday Night Showcase. Lots of fun in the mid-winter Florida sun and mild weather!

Move-in starts 9 AM Friday February 15th, there is no early check-in for stalls or RV hookups! We have a list of available boarding facilities for anyone wanting to come early or stay late, posted on the FPCMSA web site and FB page. Move-out is Monday (President's Day) February 17th.

There is a mandatory $100 per rider (excluding Wranglers) deposit due within 7 days of registration. The $100 deposit can be paid by either:

(Note) If you choose PayPal payment to a business or link the payment to a credit card or debit card, you and our club will incur charges for your payment. Any additional PayPal club charges will be added to your match fees that you will be responsible to pay.
Your deposit is fully refundable up to February 6th and 90% refundable (with prior notice before the match date) if you withdraw from the match after February 6th. Special consideration may be provided for documented health or weather emergencies, at the discretion of the FPCMSA.

Due to our onsite issued stalls and RV spots (with group save options), there is no need to place multiple rider's stalls or RV spots on one rider's reservation!

FPCMSA encourages you to prepay your entire match fees, to avoid long lines at the match. 100% of prepaid related match fees will be refunded if you withdraw for any reason.

Shooting begins Saturday February 15th as follows:
8 AM Arena One for Main Match (MM) Stage1 (Wranglers 1st)
8:15 AM MM Stage 2 in Arena Two (Wranglers 1st)
MM Stage 3 in Arena One shortly after MM Stage 1 (Wranglers 1st)
Wranglers ground shooting in Arena Two following MM Stage 2
Eliminator Stages 1 and 2 will be shot in Arena Two, after Wrangler ground shooting is complete
The Showcase Saturday night (7:30 PM +/-) in Arena One, starting with the top 10 (in each of the 4 divisions) Senior Incentive (based on the first 3 stages MM results) followed by the top 10 (in each of the 4 divisions) Eliminator riders

Shooting resumes on Sunday February 16th as follows:
8 AM Arena One Cavalry Stage 1
8:15, Cavalry Stage 2 in Arena Two
Shortly after Cavalry, MM Stage 4 (Wranglers 1st) in Arena One
MM Stage 5 in Arena Two (Wranglers 1st)
Rifle and Shotgun Stage 1 will immediately follow the MM in Arena One
Followed by Rifle & Shotgun Stage 2 in Arena Two
Awards will take place 45 minutes after the last shot is fired!
Approximate Sunday finish times (to get you on the road as early as possible) are:
Main Match Stage 5 2:30 PM
Rifle/Shotgun Stage 2 3:30 PM
Awards 4:30 PM
If you want to stay over, no problem, checkout is 12 Noon on Monday.
