Event Overview
Join us for three exciting days in the beautiful Rocky Mountains! Throughout this special event, you'll have the opportunity to earn 12X the points.
ShootPony.com is awarding Average awards in the 4D based on the combined total of Saturday and Sunday shoots. In the 1D, 2D, 3D and 4D we are awarding:
1st place Custom Saddles
2nd place Custom Silver Stirrups
3rd place Custom Silver Knives
All Main Match entries are automatically entered in the jackpots. If you are only competing on your Main Match horse on Saturday and Sunday, you may ride any horse on any stage. If you are running additional horses in the ShootPony 4Djackpot, average awards will be based upon the horse/rider team. Substituting a horse if you are on multiple horses takes you out of the average award calculation but you may still run for stage money. No horse/rider team may compete multiple times on any given stage.
Office Hours
The office will be open for check-in on Thursday, August 20, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and will reopen at 7:00 AM each following morning. If you are running late please call Eli at 303-775-7260!
Shoot Schedule
Friday, August 21, 2026 - Warmup Shoot 2X the Points
The event kicks off on Friday with a Warmup shoot. The entry fee is $75 2 stages for Main Match (MM) plus a $10 office fee, Shootpony 4D Side Pot. Clean shooter $10, must be clean on both stages. Additional horses offered, same entry fees. The Warmup starts at 10:00 AM.
Following the last shot, or at 2:00 PM (whichever comes first), we will proceed with the Rifle, Shotgun, and Cavalry competitions for Day 1 of the Estes Shootout. No time only runs.
Saturday, August 22, 2026 - Day 1 Estes Shootout 5X the Points
Day 1 of the Estes Shootout starts at 9:00 AM. The Main Match entry fee is $125, with a $25 office fee, and includes Shootpony 4D payout, 3 stages across 2 arenas. Additional horses offered $150 entry fees apply. One hour after the last shot of the Main Match, Day 2 events for Rifle, Shotgun, and Cavalry will begin. No time only runs.
Everyone is automatically entered into the ShootPony 4D jackpot with $5000 added money.
Sunday, August 23, 2026 - Day 2 Estes ShootPony 4D Shootout 5X the Points
The final day, sponsored by ShootPony.com, starts at 9:00 AM and also offers five times the points. Entry for the Main Match is $125, with a $25 office fee, and includes ShootPony 4D payout, 3 stages in 2 arenas. Additional horses offered, $150 per horse No time only runs.
Everyone is automatically entered into the ShootPony 4D jackpot with $5000 added money.
Event Logistics
Accommodations
RV spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis for $40 per night, which includes water, electric, and dump facilities. Dry camping, $30 per night, is permitted on the west and north sides of the grounds. Please note that plugging in to electricity or water will incur the RV nightly rate.
Stalls and Livestock Pens
Stalls are $25 for the first night and $20 for each additional night. At least one bag of shavings (purchased onsite) is required per stall; outside shavings are not permitted. Arrive up to two days before the event and stay up to two days after. Livestock pens are available for $15 per head per day, also on a first-come, first-served basis.
