Description
This will be the first of many shoots at UFC Hall of Fame Fighter Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone's BMF Ranch. Join us to shoot at this new facility built by Cowboy for mounted shooting. Limited to first 65 riders to sign up!
The entrance to the arena on the ranch is at Mile Marker 1 on Highway 472 (also known as King's Highway), Edgewood, NM. Please enter and exit the property using this back gate only. The gate is right at mile marker 1. Take Hwy 472 East 1 mile from the intersection of Hwy 344 and Hwy 472. The arena is on the south (right) side of the road, just East of the huge American Flags flying on the ranch. If you need directions, or if you're arriving late and want someone to meet you at the entrance, or if you have any questions, contact Dana at 505-573-7779.
Friday, May 8th - beginning at 4 pm - we will hold a side competition using Course #51. Challenge your friends, choose your first bracket competitors wisely, and put your money where your mouth is! We will run this competition using a single elimination tournament bracket. $20 to enter with 1/2 going to the prize pool and 1/2 will be donated to BMF KIDS CAMP (see below). Bring your own ammo and cash to back your play! Ammo will be available onsite for purchase if needed.
We will have 10X20 pipe pens and 10X10 panel pens available, but you may bring your own portable panels or hotwire. One round pen is available to house multiple horses together, FCFS. Pens are $15/night and the pen money will all go to the BMF KIDS CAMP (see below). Free dry camping is available in the areas surrounding the arena and pens but no hookups.
Enjoy viewing the buffalo that live at the BMF Ranch. Food trucks will be onsite. We'll have a bonfire at the fire pit and adult beverages available on Friday and Saturday nights at Cowboy's Chasing Danger Saloon (on site). The saloon accepts donations to Cowboy Cerrone's BMF KIDS CAMP, a 501(c)(3) organization that teaches youth from all over the country to stand up for themselves, take initiative in life, and learn a multitude of life skills.
Saturday will be a 4 stage shoot with $5,000 added money to be split between the main match, rifle, shotgun and ShootPony 4D. ShootPony 4D will have $2000 added. The office will be open Friday night and again Saturday morning from 7:00-8:00 am. There will be a riders meeting at 9:00 am and shooting starts at 9:30 am with shotgun and rifle followed by the main match.
Come enjoy the camaraderie and shooting!! Another shoot is on Sunday - so don't plan on leaving!!
