Description:

2026 MINNESOTA STATE SHOOT is a 3X WPQ on a 5-stage match over two days with shotgun, rifle and eliminator hosted by the Wild Rice Peacemakers.
** NEW LOCATION!! The 2026 Minnesota State Shoot will be held at Smilin' D Arena in Belgrade, MN! This is an indoor arena with indoor stalls, full bathrooms, concessions and spectator seating. **

Order of events (Office hours are approximate):

Friday, August 14th
Move-in allowed after 12pm.
Office will be open at the crow's nest for entries from 5-9pm

Saturday, August 15th
The office will be open from 7-8am. You must be signed up and paid by then to compete. NO changes to entries after 8am.
Shooters Safety Meeting - 8:30 am
Wrangler Ground Shooting (10 balloons) - 8:40 am
Presentation of the flags to follow ground shooting
Main Match: Stages 1-3 starting at 9 am


7 pm: Eliminator Showcase! $500 added by Smilin' D Arena

Potluck to follow Main Match - Please bring a dish or dessert to share! Meat will be provided. We will be having the potluck between MM and the Eliminator Showcase.

Sunday, August 16th
Rifle Stages 1 & 2
Shotgun Stages 1 & 2
Main Match: Stages 4-5 following final rifle stage
Awards - Approximately 1 hour after the last shot.


Fees for the weekend:
Main Match: 5 stages, entry fee: $150 - Level paybacks (NO senior splits)
Wrangler Main Match: $30
Rifle: 2 stages, entry Fee: $45 - Class Paybacks
Shotgun: 2 stages, entry Fee: $40 - Class Paybacks

Eliminator - $50 entry fee
Limited (1-3) Cowboys & Cowgirls
Open (4-6) Cowboys & Cowgirls
NO senior splits
Qualifier for the eliminator will be overall times from stages 1-3 of the main match, and taking back the top 5 Cowboys and Cowgirls in each division.

Clean Shooter: $10 entry fee - 100% payback split between all shooters with no penalties.

Overall Jackpot: $50 entry fee - 3D or 4D dependent on number of entries.

Ammo: Whitehouse and Curly's
Office fee - $10
Dry Camping: $30/weekend - No Electrical Hookups
Stalls: $45/stall, shavings are $11/bag. Stalls have concrete floors. Please contact Katie for your stall reservations and if you would like to be stalled near specific individuals.
NO PORTA PENS ALLOWED.
No outside shavings.
Stalls do NOT need to be cleaned before leaving.
Bathroom On-Site.
Multiple water hydrants on site.
