Carthage Missouri is the place to be June 20th-22nd, 2025! Please join the Missouri Big Irons for their Mid Central Regional Championships at the beautiful Lucky J Arena & Steakhouse. One of only ten regional events in the nation, we've designed this premier competition for you to bring your green horses, your good horses and everything in between, and have a chance at earnings on them all! Four times the points, Six buckles and Two Trophy Breastcollars up for grabs at this exciting event, and payback on everything!

The highlight of this shoot will be the Moon Mortgage Team Saturday Night Showcase! Stacey & Amy Moon have graciously added $1,000 to this event, please check out their page. We are advertising this to the local community so we expect a crowd coming in to have dinner Saturday evening at the Lucky J steakhouse to watch the top shooters duke it out for cash and prizes!

Open Division (levels 4-6) will have $500 added - Plus a Champion Breast Collar awarded!
Limited Division (levels 1-3) will have $500 added - Plus a Champion Breast Collar awarded!
Qualify for this by paying the $65 entry and placing in the top fifteen of your division (no gender or senior splits). Showcase pays 1 in 6 spots for each division. Place in the top ten of either Shotgun or Rifle of the main match to qualify for that portion of the showcase, Top Rifle and Top Shotgun pays $100 each with no add'tl showcase entry required.

TWO custom trophy buckles to be awarded for ShootPony4D high money earning Cowboy & Cowgirl if we have at least 5 cowboys and 5 cowgirls entered! Run multiple horses for a chance at mo' bucks, and mo' buckles! (thanks to Landmark Gates and Be Gutsy Jewelry!)

Move In/Open arena ride time

Saturday June 21st
10 am -- Shotgun/Rifle Stages 1 and 2
1 pm -- (or 1/2 hour after SG/RF) - Main Match Stages 1&2
ShootPony additional horses will run at the end of each stage.
6pm (or 1/2 hour after main match ends) -- Moon Mortgage Team Saturday Night Showcase

Sunday June 21st
9 am -- Main Match Stages 3 & 4
30 minutes after Stage 4 -- Awards

Entry Fees

Main Match = $120 - $800 added, 50% payback
Office Fee = $30
Rifle or Shotgun = $75 - 50% payback

Moon Mortgage Team Saturday Night Showcase = $65 - $1,000 added, 80% payback
Clean Shooter = $10 - 100% payback
Wranglers = $20

ShootPony 4D

$75 for first horse, run as many additional horses as you like. 100% payback per stage must shoot clean.

$125 for each additional horse - $50 to cover overhead, and100% payback on $75 for each additional horse must shoot clean.
