Update 1:57am 5/3 from Austin’s parents:
“As parents,
this is not a post any of us could have imagined putting out...
To friends and family
Our beloved Austin Norris
Went to ride horses ,
in the greener pastures
At 1:57 am on May 3 ,2026
Austin was surround by loved ones
Austin Norris touched many
People's hearts she made friends everywhere she went,
and was amazing for her horsemanship, riding and training abilities. Austin and I were stuck together like glue ,she started working with me at Briggs & Stratton
We drove together we would saddle up and work colts together we would load up and rodeo or go shooting together ..when I was pregnant with her I said "this kid will come out holding the rains" and she did just that she was my daughter and I was so proud of everything she did .we had a relationship like no other
We will miss this beautiful loving young lady with our whole hearts
She's now pain free in a better place
Fly high baby girl 🙏”
Update 2:55pm 5/2:
Austin is still fighting (and if you know her at all, that’s no surprise!) Please continue the prayers and check the GoFundMe for further updates.
Update 11:56am 5/2:
“Austin coded 3 times and as they were trying to resuscitate her she had a stroke and now there is no brain activity so she has been pronounced brain dead. This is not the outcome we were praying for so please keep the family in your prayers as they navigate through the next days to come.” -Jessica Glisson
Original 10:22am 5/2:
Long time CMSA member, Austin Norris, is fighting for her life after a horrific car accident. We ask our CMSA Family to keep Austin and her family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate the uncertainty of the coming days. This young Georgia cowgirl has been such a bright light in the shooting community ever since she was a wrangler. We pray for full healing and would love nothing more to see this beautiful cowgirl back in the arena.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help Austin’s family with the ever building medical expenses. That link will be available in the comments.Update 1:57am 5/3 from Austin’s parents:
