Gary
Vickers of Manchester, Tennessee topped a field of two hundred
and sixty seven of the worlds best mounted shooters to win
his first CMSA High Overall and the Champion Cowboy Title at the
Tony Lama World Championships in Amarillo, Texas. Gary started
and finished strong. He won the first stage, finished second in
stage two, twenty first in stage three, fifteenth in stage four
and first in stage five to win the World. He also won the AQHA
Open Division and placed second in the Mens AAA Double Down.
His consistency with efficient course management and precise marksmanship
paid big dividends. Gary Vickers also won the SASS World Championships
this year and is no stranger to the winners circle at major
CMSA events. Congratulations!

Tammy
Billingsley hauled all the way from Darby Montana to capture the
coveted World Champion Cowgirl honors at the 2012 Tony Lama World
Championships. Tammy who holds numerous major CMSA Titles was
at the top of her game this year in Amarillo. Her consistent riding
and shooting placed her in the top five percent or better in all
five stages of the main match to finish Second Overall at the
World. Tammy also won the Cimarron World Champion Cowgirl Eliminator
and placed second in the AAA Cowgirl Double Down and the AQHA
Open Divisions. Tammys world class performance will be recorded
as a bench mark in Cowboy Mounted Shooting History, congratulations.
